Guide to Auspicious & Inauspicious Muhurats

In Vedic astrology, Muhurat refers to a moment or duration of time that is auspicious for a specific activity. Choosing the right Muhurat aligns the energy of the cosmos with your actions, ensuring success and well-being.

🐍 Rahu Kalam (Avoid)
Rahu Kalam is a period of approximately 90 minutes every day ruled by the shadow planet Rahu. It is considered highly inauspicious for starting any new venture, business, or journey. However, routine tasks can continue.
💀 Yamaganda (Avoid)
Ruled by Yama, the god of death, this period is considered bad for any auspicious work. Actions started during Yamaganda often face failure or destruction.
🙏 Brahma Muhurat (Best)
Occurring approximately 1.5 hours before sunrise, Brahma Muhurat is the "Time of the Creator." It is the most powerful time for meditation, prayer, yoga, and studying. The mind is naturally calm and receptive during this window.
🌟 Abhijit Muhurat (Good)
Abhijit Muhurat falls around local noon. It is ruled by Lord Vishnu and is capable of destroying innumerable doshas (flaws). It is generally considered good for all auspicious activities, except on Wednesdays.
